Based on his 35 plus years as a distributor and 20 plus years as an importer, Richard Layo, CEO of SMART Machine Tool, founded the Korea based factory on machine quality and reliability at an affordable price. SMART Machine Tool Korea supplies CNC lathes ranging from 6-inch to 30-inch chucks, and now vertical machining centers, for the North American markets. The expansion of SMART Machine Tool Korea facilitates an increase of 3-4 times current products levels.
