Vertical Machining Centers
The new SV series is a linear guide 3-axis vertical machining center that is loaded with features. Cat 40 Big Plus spindles with 8,000, 10,000 and 12,000 RPM options, tables ranging from 40"x 20" to 58"x 24" This machine is paired with a Fanuc 0i-MF control which includes Manual Guide i conversational programming. The SV Series are built very well, loaded with features, and offered at an even better price.
The SM series is a 3-axis box way vertical machining centers ranging from 35" to 103" in X travel with many configurations including Cat 40 or Cat 50 taper, direct drive, or geared heads. These machines are equipped with Fanuc 0i-MF control which includes the Manual Guide i conversational programming. The SM series of box way vertical machining centers were designed to be the work horse of your mill department. The Smart NV5500L is a linear roller type Vertical Machining Center where the Y and Z axis are mounted to the column. This machine is equipped with a powerful 12,000 RPM direct drive Cat 40 spindle with a 30 tool ATC, a robust column and slant bed design, and a 59.06" x 22.44" table. As with all Smart machines, Fanuc control, motors, and drives power this machine.
Horizontal Milling Centers
The SX series of Horizontal Machining Centers are loaded with features at an attractive price. Cat 40 and Cat 50 spindle taper options with X travels ranging from 22" to 59". Fanuc controls, motors, and drives make the loaded out SX Series a bullet proof option for any shop. The NX series of Horizontal Machining Centers, made by Niigata Japan, are constructed with the ultra-rigid "Box in Box design" for unmatched results and performance. Offering includes 500mm, 630mm and 800mm pallets with 8,000 - 15,000 RPM spindle options. NX5000, NX7000, and NX9000 were designed to offer unrivaled stability, high production capabilities, and high accuracy to your shop! Powered by Fanuc control, motors, and drives.
Bridge Type Vertical Machining Center
Smart offers Bridge Mills in both Cat 40 and Cat 50 Spindle Taper options, with Y axis travel ranging from 47" to 99". 6k/12k spindle options available on each model, making these machines great options for aerospace and large oil and gas parts. Fanuc control, motors, and drives power these machines.
Horizontal Boring Mills
Southwest Machine Technologies proudly represents HNK's extensive product offering of Horizontal Boring Mills. The Horizontal Boring Mills manufactured by HNK have many options and sizes. HNK offers 4", 5", and 6" spindle sizes, table weights from 6,600 - 77,000 lbs, and many variations of XYZ travel lengths. HNK also utilizes the reliability provided by Fanuc controls & drives.
Drill Tap Machines
The SM Series of Drill Tap machines provides many unique features including milling, drilling, chamfering, and routing. These machines are used in many industries, with extrusions being the focus.
The KM Series of Drill Tap machines provides optimal production to your shop. This series comes with a 15K Cat 40 Big Plus spindle, 30 tool ATC and dual 27” x 17.7” tables. Powered by Fanuc controls and drives. A great option for increasing production and eliminating spindle down time.
The KT Series of Drill Tap machines are built for speed and constant production. Equipped with 29.59” x 13.7” dual tables, 15,000 RPM BT30 spindle and 14 tool ATC. Fanuc control and drives makes this a great batch work/ production machine.
